Roof & Route is being built as a guide to roof racks and cargo carriers: the systems that let a car carry more than its trunk allows. It covers one category in depth, because fit and load limits are exactly the kind of detail that gets lost on a general site.
It will follow the same standards as every Janet Media Group site, including disclosed affiliate links, explained picks and hands-on testing where possible. When a recommendation depends on a vehicle's published roof-load rating or a maker's fit guide, the site will point you to that source.
